The Antibes Yacht Show, April 7th-10th, 2011
The 2011 The Antibes Yacht Show will take place from April 7th to April 10th at the Port Vauban in Antibes.
The Antibes Yacht Show is the only Yacht Show in the Mediterranean area for brokerage and charter. Its the best time to come and chose a yacht, just before the start of the season.
Thousands will be heading to Antibes from the 5th to the 7th of April for the first major yacht show of the season. Now in its 5th year the Antibes yacht show at port Vauban promises to be even bigger than in previous years after building up a solid following of devoted yachting enthusiast.
Buyers and sellers can be assured that the weekend will attract all the biggest names in the industry and showcase some of the finest luxury yachts in the world. Those attending will be able to browse over a hundred exhibitor booths in the Bastian St Jaume and view new equipment from some of the world’s leading brands.
As the largest port in Europe the port of Vauban has ample space in which to fit the many yachts arriving. For the many visitors attending the event however accommodation in Antibes can be difficult to find with hotel rooms being booked up well in advance. A villa in Antibes or in the surrounding countryside alternatively offers those staying the opportunity to escape the busy port and crowds whenever they like and enjoy the South of France in style.
This year the VIP area is being housed in its own ‘Billionaires Quai’. Guests will be presented with a glass of champagne before stepping onto the terrace that overlooks the marina.
The show still maintains its dedication to bringing buyers and sellers together for the benefit of both, however this year organisers have included a dedicated refit area for visitors looking to modernise their yachts.
For this edition they have planned further improvements to the show:
– Spacious marquees in some areas of the show
– A unique food area
– A dedicated parking facility for the exhibitors.
