The City & Sail Tour takes you to the most important monuments of Barcelona. A “Tapas-Tour” tour shows the most famous bars in the old town. Enjoy sailing along the massif of Garraf and the most beautiful beaches. Personalized visit of Torres Winery where a guide will guide us. A guide will show you the old town and fishing village of Sitges. Sailing to Barcelona to visit the beaches and bars.

For this week you can choose between an Oceanis 43 (2009) or an Elan 343 (2007) in Port Olimpic. Your skipper will welcome you with a glass of champagne and explain the crew the planned cruises for next week.

1. Day: Barcelona-Tour

Today you will learn about the famous city of Barcelona. From the Port Olimpic, we start the bus tour, “Ruta Este” which are the most important monuments and squares of Barcelona as: Port Olimpic – Nova Mar Bella – Torre Agbar – Sagrada Familia – Hospital Santa Creu – Parc Guell – Tibidabo – La Pedrera – Casa Batllo – Plaça Catalunya – Gotic – Port Vell – Museo de Historia – Barceloneta.

In Barceloneta, the old fishing district of Barcelona, we enjoy a dinner with typical dishes such as the “Escalivada”, “Esqueixada de Bacallà” and “Pa amb Tomàquet.

In the afternoon our guide will accompany you through the heart of the city and to show us the typical Gothic-Catalan architecture and its squares and streets. Since Roman times, the inhabitants of Barcelona left their mark in 2000 years of history: The tour shows the Gothic Quarter and Las Ramblas, Plaza Cataluña – Las Ramblas – Mercado de la Boqueria – Plaza Real – c / Ferrán – Plaza del Pi – Calle Petritxol – El Barrio Judio Town – La Plaza San Jaume (Generalitat and Ayuntamiento) – Plaza del Rey – Plaza San Felipe Neri – Catedral.
We are certainly now become hungry and we look forward to a guided “tapas tour”: We discover in a tour the most famous tapas bars of Barcelona and their gourmet creations. In addition, we see how to order tapas and we’ll know some of the best bars and cafes of Barcelona. Our tapas expert will give us tips on what in Barcelona don´t have to be missed.

2. Day: Cruise Barcelona – Aiguadolç / Sitges (22 nm)

In the morning we leave the port of Barcelona and sail towards Sitges. We look forward to a day of sailing along the Garraf Mountains, a coast with beautiful beaches like the beach of Garraf, Cala or Cala Morisca Home Mort.

We spend this night in the Aiguadolç harbor – one of the best Spanish Mediterranean ports – through the combination of quality and service in its natural position.

3. Day: Exclusive Visit of the Bodega Torres in Vilafranca del Penedès

bodega_torresToday we discover the hinterland and the famous wine-growing region of Penedes wines. From the port we drive to Vilafranca to the Bodega Torres. A private tour of the Bodega Torres shows us the different areas of the winery and its facilities:
The new Bodega Waltraud “- traditional la Bodega Cava Josefa”- the vineyards of Finca “Mas La Plana” and the area of delivery of the grapes.
Finishing the tour we taste a selection of the best Torres wines in the cellar in a private and exclusive environment.

In the afternoon we return to Sitges. Here we can walk through the old town and its museums. In the old fishermen’s quarter, we discover tell remnants of the old city walls, castle and many monuments of the history of Sitges: Ayuntamiento Antiguo Mercado, Biblioteca, Monumento al Dr. Robert Church Parish, Casa Vidal Quadras, Museo Cau Ferrat y Conjunto de Maricel. More interesting information we find visisting the Museo Maricel Wed and the old Hospital of San Juan Bautista de Sitges.

For dinner, we should try a traditional Catalan dish “Arroz a la Cazuela”mi “El Celler Vell” in Sitges.

4. Day: Cruise Sitges – Barcelona

The next morning we will leave from Aiguadolç port and sail to Barcelona and enjoy the wonderful coastal scenery and the pleasant sea breeze. Once again in our home port of Port Olimpic, we have an interesting selection of different restaurants. Who has an appetite for fish from the oven should choose the restaurant “La Fonda del Port Olimpic”.

5. Day: Sailing or Beach?

Today we can enjoy a day at Barcelona’s beaches with his Chriguitos and the special atmosphere or make a last day trip – the skipper is available for his crew.

6. Day:

Today we must say goodbye to our Skipper – with one last photo of our yacht in memory of this trip.
