The 33rd Athens International Boat Show, hosted once again in the ultramodern grounds of Metropolitan Expo at the Athens International Airport of Eleftherios Venizelos and held from the 15th to the 23rd of October 2011, is getting ready to make another successful appearance, now more than ever proving the point that ‘boat’ and ‘sea’ make an irresistible pair, not for the few and privileged, but for everyone who loves the sea.
Actively supporting and promoting our naval culture, under the banner of the Greek sun and our country’s clear blue sea, the Athens International Boat Show is under intense preparations. Making success a personal challenge, the event will be promoting the values of yachting and provide the market sector with a breath of fresh sea air, encouraging all enthusiasts to acquire a boat of their own under the most agreeable terms, to sail on inviting sea routes to their dream locations.
For a total of nine days, from the 15th to the 23rd of October 2011, featuring a variety of boats, naval services and products, the 33rd Athens International Boat Show invites all to meet the wonders of open seas, presenting a full picture of sector offerings under one roof. An event for all, dedicated to one of the most important greek industries and one of national importance. An exhibition to reach the heart of all who love sea recreational activities or are interested in sea tourism, everyone who enjoys extreme sports, professional or sport fishing, as well as experts or enthusiasts who are into boating, yachting, sea sport and diving.
Metropolitan Expo meeting point…
This year as in the last two, the 33rd Athens International Boat Show will take place at the Metropolitan Expo, the most complete, modern and impressive exhibition center in Greece, located at the Athens International airport of ‘Eleftherios Venizelos’.
Bearing large, ultramodern infrastructure and facilities, luxurious exhibition grounds while being accessible by all public transportation means, the exhibition centre of Metropolitan Expo offers the necessary growth and development conditions for Greek convention and exhibition tourism, and for the last two years, has provided the Athens International Boat Show with the shining image and prestige it deserves, setting even higher quality standards.
The Athens International Boat Show is organized each year by EXPO ONE Exhibition Organizing Company in cooperation with the Greek Manufacturers of Plastic Sea Vessels Related Accessories & Services Association (SEKAPLAS PEEY), and under the auspices of the international organizations: International Federation of Boat Show Organizers (IFBSO) and International Council of Marine Industry Associations (ICOMIA).
