We invite our friends crewing on AMELS and DAMEN yachts to take a deep dive on their photo drives and share their favourite yachting destination shots (with or without the yacht in picture).
As part of our #loveouroceans project, this crew competition will not only inspire owners to see the world with their yachts, but also offers the chance to win an exclusive AMELS jacket.
The #loveouroceans theme highlights the world’s most beautiful destinations at sea, while also recognising the positive efforts and innovations across our industry to reduce the environmental impact of luxury yachting.
Victor Caminada, Brand and Marketing Manager:
“Owning a superyacht is fun, we’re in the fun business, but we’ve all witnessed a growing appreciation of the threat that ocean pollution is to the long-term sustainability of our industry. It’s our clients’ playground and the problem reaches all our shores. Even if luxury yachting is not a major cause, here in Holland the yachting industry is really rising to the challenge. #loveouroceans is a fantastic way to celebrate the whole industry’s commitment to our oceans together.”
Photos must be taken by AMELS and DAMEN crew members, during the last 5 years. The 10 best images submitted by AMELS and DAMEN crew members will win an exclusive AMELS jacket by Musto and the winning members will be featured in the AMELS and DAMEN client magazine. Rose Damen will select the winning imagery of inspiring ocean destinations.
Winners will be announced during the Singapore Yacht Show on 11-14 April 2019. Send your favourite images in high resolution to firstname.lastname@example.org.
By submitting your photo, you confirm that you own rights to the image and allow AMELS and DAMEN to reproduce the image with credit. The deadline is 31 March 2019. Please submit your imagery in high resolution and mention the location of the image and any other relevant details.
