For Quantum Racing, their win is added to a solid fourth in the opening race while Jose Cusi’s Bribon backed up their third Race 1 with a good second place just behindQuantum Racing.

The Circuit leaders made a smart early move to the left and were able to gain on the final approach to the windward mark where they were able to squeeze inside Bribon. In very light conditions – just 5-6kts of breeze and beautiful evening sunshine – the two lead boats were able to open up over a duel between Synergy and Container. The Russian flagged team looked to have the advantage at the final turn but during the hoist their spinnaker snagged and exploded letting Markus Wieser and the German team through to take third.
