La Grande Motte France: International Multihull Show 2018 is coming up

The next edition of the International Multihull Show (18. – 22. April) is coming up and La Grande Motte will be flying the flag as the capital of the world for multihulls for five days.

This show dedicated entirely to multihulls was founded in Lorient (Brittany) in 2009, but it is here in La Grande Motte, in Hérault, in the Occitanie region, that the show acquired its reputation and international status…

It is true that the town in the Pays d’Oc with its pyramidal architecture really stands out and surprises everyone, when you come here for the first time by sea, plane or by road.

Just a few miles from Montpellier airport, the Mediterranean port offers all sorts of advantages to host this truly global event. Each year in April, in the heart of the seaside town ranked as a 20th Century heritage centre, boat builders, equipment manufacturers are present with all their latest products.

This year once again and even more so, the multihull sector will impress everyone, showing how dynamic it is and how it is propelling the whole marine sector forwards.
Just to mention a few:

Aventura 34 World premiere

This ninth edition has something for everyone and the whole of the multihull family will be attending. With the strong backing of the world of racing and records, this is a fantastic time for multihulls, as we can see with François Gabart’s achievements with his Macif trimaran, Thomas Coville with Sodebo, Armel Le Cléach with Banque Populaire and other champions.

Multihulls are no passing craze. They are now perfect for pleasure boating, as they are modern and friendly, suit the family, and are affordable for everyone.

Increasingly popular thanks to the charter sector, catamarans, whether they are equipped with sails or an engine, can be seen around the world. They are enjoyed by boating enthusiasts, whether they are experienced or beginners, looking to travel and be free on fast boats, which are comfortable and spacious.
